    Suggest a suitable Game please

    Hi,

Could you suggest suitable games for my laptop?
    Win7 Ulitmate 64-bit SP1
    i7-3612QM,
    750GB HDD (5400rpm)
    16GB RAM
    15.6" display
    1GB dedicated NVIDIA GT-620M

I would prefer to play games that won't "overtax' my machine" ..... some kind of moderate graphics demanding games .... racing, military, flying , etc ..... I haven't had installed any games ever before .... so a "layman" as far as games and their graphics demand is concerned.

    Thx

This should give you an idea as to how that GT620M will perform,

    NVIDIA GeForce GT 620M - Notebookcheck.net Tech

in a few games. Unfortunately it is going to struggle with a lot of the current games.

@ Stormy13: " .... Unfortunately it is going to struggle with a lot of the current games. "

That's why suggest some other games that will suit this graphics without "over-taxing" it ..... not the latest games that demand hi graphics power , even relatively older ones that will "comfortably" adapt to this graphics specifi'x.

Also, this laptop has Intel HD graphics 4000 .... if that helps and has any advantage in addition to having GeForce GT 620M !

How old is the laptop? What year was it made?

I have an old 2005 "Slimnote" laptop (and honestly, it's a P.o.S). Even though Diablo 2 was made in 2000/2001, it can barely play the game (mainly due to the graphics card being a sack of crap), and it can barely play video's on web browsers. And of course, I can't change the hardware in it mainly due to it being "built-in" into the mobo, no doubt.

Barely 3-4 months old as I see the BIOS version date release.
Also, Fujitsu website shows this is the latest release.
What I mean is the combination - Intel HD Graphics 4000 + NVIDIA Ge Force GT620M - makes any sensible advantage or is it so common in recent laptops?
Does this cobination helps in playing games (not very latest games but relatively older ones that won't over-tax the hardware resources)?
    Plz advice

The Nvidia is probably better than the Intel.

You could more than likely play games that are 2007 and earlier. Usually laptop graphic cards aren't really that, uhm, good, but they should be able to play quite a few games. You can check out that website with the program "Can I Run It?" and see which games would work with it. The website doesn't have every single game in the list, but it does have a nice number of them. That's your best bet to check.

Civilization series. The video is the bottleneck, I'd say, other than the HDD.
