patrician 2 problem

I had patrician 2 runnin b4 it took just restarting the game again escapeing the intro movie. Now after the latest windows update it simply wont go to the menu screen past the intro. I was using campatibility mode xp sp3 further more where do the saves go for this game?
help please

solved how to get it runnin. go into task manager end the blinkvideo.exe. Black screens a couple seconds then theres the menu and enjoy. However i am not enjoying the game itself on the advancment campaighn. I havnt figured out the best way to prosper in the 1st in game 6 months.

doh,forgot to use edit button as if it isn,t big enuff

binkvideo.exe* and I figure no one replied because you can't spell, sorry.

Bink video is the in-game FMV footage linking the storyline together, maybe the dll file that decrypts the video is corrupt, have you tried re-installing the game?
