Very VERY High Ping in Games

    Hi everyone,

I currently got a little problem and don't know how to fix that.
I just installed Win7 Ultimate RC two days ago. After installing all necessary drivers i tried to play CS:S.
    There the problem begins:
My Ping slowly rises to about 600-900ms and i can't do anything after that happend. The Game seems to be in just one horrible lag. After trying to change my cl_cmdrate and my updaterate to 60 down from 100, it works. Now i just have horrible Lagspikes and a constant bad connection. Im running on about 60-100ms. The Lagspikes pushing it up to about 400ms now, before they end. Iam Running on a 1024 kbps connection. This problem appears since installing win7. Its the 64 Bit version, before i ran on vista 32 bit.
Iam running on WLAN, but this one is running on around 18 Mbit/s and i even tried to connect my computer per cable. No effect.
I already deactivated the Naggle's algorythm with no success.

    Any suggestions? It's just frustrating

    regards,
    trisox

i think it could be because of multiple network connections. I had wlan and a disconnected cable connection. After i deactivated the cable one, it was fixed. now i have it again..maybe caused by hamachi..now i have lagspikes at cmd/updaterate 60, too in counterstrike source. maybe because of my bad connection. only got around 1mbit/s and we are using this one with 3 people.
May the Microsoft Gods release an hotfix.
