    Advanced Updater not working?


    I am playing angry birds star wars and trying to download the newly released map, but when I click on it I get a error box saying "advanced updater has stopped working" with this for the details:

    This also came up when I was trying to update another program, which I can't think off hand of what it was. Any advice?

    Sometimes, the auto updater does not work. I usually find the latest updates, download it to a temp folder, once there go ahead and right click, run as admin on the setup or exe files.

When ever i try check/download updates, it just kind of, looks for updates for about 6 hours..No error messasge no nothing, just constantly is "Looking" and if it does find updates it downloads at 0KB 0% done for ever... tried leaveing it on over night ect..just wont work. ne ideas?
