    Battlefield 2 Crashing

I just bought Battlefield 2 Complete Edition and the game keeps crashing at the main menu when I select either Single or Multiplayer, it just says LOCERROR: Unable to load current profile at the screen then CRASH. Could someone tell me how to fix this? It would be real appreciated :)

NOTE: I have Compatibility move active and it still crashes, just to let you know.

Tried running it with Admin rights? Sometimes fixes things.

    Hi,

Have you purchased it in Steam or Origin?

The game is on a disk so it isn't through Steam or Origin and I have ran it under Admin rights and the error still pops up

Have you tried installing the game (the setup.exe file inside the BF2 DVD) with Admin rights? Sometimes that fixes it, too.

Have you tried checking you have the latest version of the game. As you say you installed it off a disc. A disc version doesn't always come with all the updates.

The updates came up each time I installed each of the DLC's, making it an auto-update for each of them because of it.
