Stop Games folder from adding games
Hey guys, is it possible to make the "Games" folder behave like an ordinary folder? I.e. to just keep the games I enabled in it (Solitaire, Freecell, Spider, etc), and not attempt to add other games to it?
For example if I install Bejewelled I will also get a shortcut to Bejewelled in my Games folder. Worse, it's not even consistent: I can install another game, say Titan Quest, yet it won't show up in the Games folder. This inconsistent behaviour is what I don't like.
Not to mention there are other reasons for not allowing Windows to "guess", e.g. you can make some games global across different user profiles and others not, during the game installation.
So is there any way of retaining the games Win7 comes with and preventing other games from being added to the folder? I still want to play Freecell and stuff, I just don't want Windows to "help" add other games because it can't do it right.
