    This is the first thing I thought as well.

    That and improvements to tessellation for textures. I could see a mix of raytrace and tessellation being implemented together Either depending on the object or environment being displayed or a setup where an image is being created realtime as a raytrace and then updating the tesselation textures overlaying objects to match the image that would be displayed.

    Full ray tracing would be far off. It would look sweet though :)
