Gta San Andreas - Problem with player movement

I am having windows 7 ultimate 32 bit on laptop. I installed gta sa v1.1 yesterday. It had bunch of problems, i fixed mouse problems with compatibility mode though.

Second issue is regarding movement of CJ holding weapons. i'd like him to move sideways while aiming at people.. This doesn't happen, i tried code "professionalkiller" to raise his level to hitman but no help

Are you using and external mouse or the trackpad? Also while you are aiming and you press "A" or "D" to move left or right, what happens? Does he not at all move sideways or does he move sideways but stops aiming?

    Ye, an external mouse..

It keeps aiming and no side-movement is seen

I retried moments ago, it was doing okay sometimes. but it is not working good all the times now

I don't know if this will help, but when I had GTA SA installed I tried to play with an external joystick plugged in, I then had no control over CJ at all. After calling customer support and telling me to unplug it, it worked completely fine!
So try to play unplugging any game controllers etc. That you are not using to play the game.

    Hope this helps,

In a few minutes of playing, i noticed it resolved by itself. There are no mouse freezes as well.
