    crysis dx11 help


    I am trying to play crisis 3 and keep getting a message saying I need a dx11 capable cpu. I am running windows 7 and it shows dx11?

    If you are using the integrated gpu from your processor it supports DX 10. You will need to get a discrete video card.

    new card?


    looking for a new graphics card with dx11, trying to play crysis3 and my NVidia 9400gt only goes up to dx10. looking at the NVidia gts450 and the amd HD5770. my question is will either work in my computer. it is an asus cm6730

    Yes they will. Whether the power supply that came with the computer is up to running them is another story. If what is shown here,

    ASUS - Essentio CM6730

    is any indication (350W), then you will be looking at a new power supply as well.

    P.S. For what it's worth, the HD 5770 is faster than the GTS 450.
