Win98SE Force Feedback wheel. How to adapt for Win XP or Win 7

Force Feedback wheel hardly used. Subsequent computers crashed, wore out, evolved, etc. & I could never get the wheel to work on any of them. Is there a gizmo or some tweak to bring old game & new computer together successfully ?

See this thread - Say It's not so.. (Sidewinder)

As for the other question on bringing old games and new computers together, the answers are out there you just have to search for them as you know exactly what (game) you're asking about.

The general answer is it depends on the game, and age of the game.

Good luck.

Logitech Driving Force EX - Force Feedback Motor Query
So... Before anyone tells me to send it to Logitech for repairs, I should mention that there are none that I know of in my area, and I'm not willing to pay R300 (ZAR) postage to send a big box 600km away to get my wheel 'checked'. Other than that, it's already nearly 3 years old and way out of...

Hey guys. I'm new to the forum, but i thought this would be a good place to put this thread in. I recently bought this steering wheel and it installs the driver very well, but when i try to play driving games, the car is on reverse the whole time unless i push gas or put the gas in the middle...
Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback wheel drivers. Not win7 compatable
Hi everyone. I have googled for this and found a couple of threads on the subject, but they skim over the actions needed to do what they suggest. Can anyone please fill in the gaps in English that a 10 year old can understand? :/ ...
