What's wrong with looking at post 5 on the first page? - Best Skyrim Mods. There are 61 mods listed there; and if I know Wishmaster, I know she has some graphic mods listed there as well.

Also Google works; and there is the official hi-res mod released by Bethesda on Steam, which really does do a good job - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on Steam

    Good luck.

There's a 3.1 gb memory limit in the Skyrim game engine. Any more than that immediately CTDs. You can overmod Skyrim so that it surpasses that limit very quickly. Modding too much makes Skyrim not work anymore. The more you put in, the less stable the game gets. Especially if you're running high rez shadows and textures and have your distances turned way up. If you've got all that in you've got enough.

Well, I'd provide a link if the site wasn't temporarily down, but Google the Skyrim CFG maker in a bit. It provides a GUI interface that makes both skyrimprefs.ini and skyrim.ini files for you that you can customize exactly to your system specs. It's a very reliable and stable way to make ini files.
