Best Skyrim Mods
I'm thinking about replaying Skyrim but want to mod it first, but there are a shed load available.
I'm looking for some HD mods, textures or any graphic enhancements.
What mods do you guys suggest?

I haven't played it on the PC but take a look at these links pcgamer.com 2012/10/28/ the 25 best skyrim mods-2/ hubpages.com Top-20 Skyrims Mods for some ideas.
I haven't done a lot of mods but the one I do have and find very valuable is Dovakiin's Warehouse and Bedroom. Especially if you have a lot of gear and stuff lying around and want to display. Or if you need to craft or buy and sell stuff - Steam Workshop :: Dovakiin's Warehouse and Bedroom
The other recommendation is the Dragonborn DLC and it allows or more leveling and other perks.
I really enjoyed this game and have over 500 hours in
The reason I don't have all the achievements is because I either blew some of the quests off, or killed them off where I didn't get the achievement - example I never became a Werewolf.
Anyway this is a great looking game, especially if you get the high res texture pack released by Bethesda. It will definitely look good on your system.
You could check out my thread on the game here - Discuss Skyrim
Enjoy :)
A lot of work to do it all this way, but have a look here. He does have a nice list of good mods and tips on how to make patches etc.

My Personal must haves... SKSE, BOSS, WyreBash right off the bat.
In graphics, theres tons of textures to choose from. But The No Stretch and SMIM are must haves IMO as a base.
For armor and wepaons, Ive been using and like Immersive Wepons and Immersive Armors. And Book of Silence are good retextes of Armor and weapons.
Also, Automatic Variants is nice. More variety in what creatures look like,.
SkyUI and Categorized favorites for the UI. Huge help for me.
For gameplay,
ACE Overhaul (w/OPtional alchemy removed file) Theresalso a Immerive wep/armor patch if using those.
Phitts Alchemy
Duel Combat
Frotsfall
If curious, heres my mod list Im currently running. Everything except the Texture overrhauls are here.,
Some of the patches I made though.

Some excellent stuff here. I'm subscribing this one.
Thanks Jessie, that's a big help.
Has anyone used the nexus mod manager beta? Or manual still the way to go when mixing a few mods?
Yea I use it and it works well for installing.
Whats good:
It keeps track of everything and rolls back changes.
Lets say you install 2 texture mods. Texture Mod 1 install. Texture Mod 2 asks to overwrite a couple files and you say yes. If you decide you do not like Tex Mod 2, Uninstall and it rolls back to the files 1 installed.
I would suggest using it over manual install. It's a huge benefit when a mod has several files and you want to uninstall it.
The bad (And this could just be me) are the Read Me additions they made and Im not crazy about the categories. But I like plain and simple so others may feel differently.
To me its just extra stuff that's not needed.
But, I have my own method of renaming and organizing mods within the manager, even though the naming scheme probably only makes any sense to me. :)
I liked using the unofficial skyrim patch when I was playing along with whatever mods. Tons of fixes Bethesda never fixed. Includes their fixes as well.
I see Jesse already had it mentioned in his list.

didn't bethesda release a high resolution texture pack? i remember installing it one day and certain objects would turn purple, so i uninstalled it.
