Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2 with Eneloop AAs. Good range and long battery life. Also nice custom macro features for combos etc. Pro tip: get an extra set of Eneloop AAs so you never have to wait for them to charge. They usually come in a 4-pack anyway. Or of course just get a corded one if you don't need/want cordless.

But yeah, I typically use mouse and keyboard for gaming on PC. You get faster and more fine control with a mouse. As others have mentioned though, controllers are better for some games.
