    How much fps i would get :)


    Hello everyone :) my question is how much fps i would get on Battlefield 3 if i have this computer:

    Windows 7 (ultimate) 64bit

    Intel(R) Core(TM)2 quad CPU Q8200 2.3ghz

    4GB ram DDr3

    Geforce GTS 450 1GB

    You gpu is capable of about 25-30fps on high settings at 1080p on BF3, youll get higher frame rates if you lower the settings to medium or low.

    your processor should be fine with it, and 4gb is also enough, so with all that in mind id say your GPU is the weakest link, and if that can play it at 1080p youll be fine.

    However if your playing minesweeper you could get 1000+FPS, but thats not as much fun!

    Yep, that's pretty much the amount of FPS to expect with your PC.

    Lowering the settings might give you an 10-15 in some areas.

    You'd probably get the smoothest gameplay if you used adaptive vysnc at half refresh rate and capped your FPS to 30FPS instead of 60FPS. It would help with the framerate jumping from high to low causing stuttering play.
