StarCraft fix holy cow!

I am actually amazed people still play starcraft
that game always pissed me off, good luck getting it to work though

this doesnt work for me. i am running a 32 bit coppy of Win 7 RC b7100 and this method of fix doesnt work. srry

• right-click starcraft.exe and open "properties"
• go to compatibility
• select run in compatibility mode for WindowsXP SP3
• check ALL the checkboxes under Settings

Hit Ok - and you're all set
No open "display settings" required for me (as mentioned in previous posts).

So these fixes don't work for me. However, someone mentioned in passing on another forum that 8-bit (256 color) games don't work full-screen in Win7 because the taskbar is "always on top" and that it is what messes up the colors:

Worms Armageddon which is a Direct Draw game also suffers it but I have a BAT file to work around it.

Yeah, that doesn't work for me. Are you saying you tried the method I posted and that it didn't work, or did you not see my post?

Works for me! And it doesn't freeze either. Yey! :)
