Windows 7: direct x 10 back to 9

Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.
 
 
direct x 10 back to 9

I want to purchase far cry 3 and from what I read it needs direct x 9 or 11, now I have direct x10 my card only supports 10 so can I revert back to 9 and if so how?

As far as I know, and barring a patch/mod to revert back to DX9 that I don't know about, C3 is DX11 only. If you card is DX10, it is backwards compatible with all of DXs available so it should play any DX9 games

How can i run direct 3d (d3d) ?
hi, I have a P3 Computer. Win7 32bit Professional. Intel CPU 2.80GHZ Sis Mirage 662 graphic drivers. DX11 DirectDraw, Direct3D acceleration and AGP texture acceleration are enabled. resolution up to 1280 x 800.

System properties shows DirectX 10, Direct X Diagnostics shows DirectX 11 wondering why the difference ?

ok, well i didnt know what happend but i did remember i deleted and removed adobe photoshop and i guess i accidentally deleted direct x 9 or what ever version i had on my computer...is there a possible way i can get that back? i cant play my games on my computer and my stupidity got rid of...
