How to post system specs https://www.sevenforums.com/general-d...tml#post256049

And for what it's worth, your graphics card looks to be the problem. If you read my post you would have seen this Check out Fallout 3's System requirements

What are the PC system requirements?

    Minimum System Requirements:
    • Windows XP/Vista
    • 1GB System RAM (XP)/ 2GB System RAM (Vista)
    • 2.4 Ghz Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent processor
    • Direct X 9.0c compliant video card with 256MB RAM (NVIDIA 6800 or better/ATI X850 or better)
    Recommended System Requirements:
    • Intel Core 2 Duo processor
    • 2 GB System RAM
    • Direct X 9.0c compliant video card with 512MB RAM (NVIDIA 8800 series, ATI 3800 series)
    • Supported Video Card Chipsets:
      • NVIDIA GeForce 200 series
      • NVIDIA Geforce 9800 series
      • NVIDIA Geforce 9600 series
      • NVIDIA Geforce 8800 series
      • NVIDIA Geforce 8600 series
      • NVIDIA Geforce 8500 series
      • NVIDIA Geforce 8400 series
      • NVIDIA Geforce 7900 series
      • NVIDIA Geforce 7800 series
      • NVIDIA Geforce 7600 series
      • NVIDIA Geforce 7300 series
      • NVIDIA GeForce 6800 series
      • ATI HD 4800 series
      • ATI HD 4600 series
      • ATI HD 3800 series
      • ATI HD 3600 series
      • ATI HD 3400 series
      • ATI HD 2900 series
      • ATI HD 2600 series
      • ATI HD 2400 series
      • ATI X1900 series
      • ATI X1800 series
      • ATI X1600 series
      • ATI X1300 series
      • ATI X850 series
Your video card.... (Graphics: LP156WH2-TLQA@ 1366x768 intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerater HD) doesn't fit the build. And be aware that most laptops below "high end" usually struggle with games such as Fallout 3. Sorry to say, but your laptop is not high end.

    Sorry

Those video cards are intergrated and usually can't be changed out, and especially on the end user's part. You could call the laptop manufacture and see if they can change it for you, I doubt it, but you never know.

Other than that you could/should look at the post I posted with the link to tweaking the game. Note that you'll probably have to lower some settings to basic because of your video card.

Good luck. And again, read my tips guide, especially the part about updating your Direct X files.

Unfortunately a lot of people buy games for laptops without checking the games requirements and run into problems mainly because the video card lacks the power to run the game. I personally wouldn't buy a laptop without at least an ATI or Nvidia gaming card in it, especially if you're even thinking about gaming.

That's me though; and at the moment I don't own a laptop so....

    Good luck.

as Sygnus has said your graphics card is the problem...that is for certain.

Laptops imo are not gaming machines for games like Fallout 3 and later games, as in Bad Company 2, Crysis, and the like unless you spend a small fortune buying a hi performance one as in Alienware and the like.
Sorry for you really as Fallout 3 is a pretty awesome game on PC, buggy like all Bethseda software appears to be but awesome none the less.

    Cheers

I think his point was the game ran on the system he posted about

But yeah, 4gig of RAM should be the norm for 64bit OS', but that's another debate for another thread :)
