hey. can anyone get me the registry values for the game explorer for fo3?
i've tried reinstalling it but it wont show up there.
i know it should be in:
    Computer > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Microsoft> Windows > CurrentVersion > GameUX > Games

    thanks in advance

Not gonna dig through all of the pages, but nVidia drivers can be a cause in Win7

Sneaky copy of Win 7 build 7000
       #207

I have sacrificed things to all types of dark deities, yet Fallout 3 is still giving me grief:

PC #1---> Intel Win 7, build 7000, using 2x ATI 3870x2's with one monitor on each card (so dual displays... yes, I know).

Game installs but refuses to load, as per previous issues that people have had. I get a minimised window, when I click on it, it brings up the "has stopped working... Windows is checking" and then it just disappears into Oblivion (haha... geddit?).

FRESH install of the OS, all I've installed so far is Firefox, Ventrilo and Windows Live Messenger. Have not tried unplugging a monitor yet, mostly because it is a pain in the butt to crawl back there and my wife would get mad because she uses the second monitor.

Any new news on this issue besides unplugging the sucker? And if it's something to do with editing .ini or whatever like I read before, can someone post up the cliffnotes here because I'm confused as heck. I did edit the registry thing through the command prompt, didn't help.

PC #2 ---> Intel, Using a single ATI 4870, Windows Vista 64 (Yeah, it's not 7, I know(. Game crashes on exit, and occasionally during play - usually an hour or so into playing it'll crash, requiring me to start the game again.

Anyone find a solution to this one? Driving me freaking mad...

Fallout 3 seems to be working just fine for me. I installed it and patched it to the newest version. I have the newest Nvidia drivers as well.

I solved all my Fallout3 problems by limiting the usable cores to just 2 out of the 4 I have. (edited an .ini)
No problems since, not even 1 crash.
