I don't recommend Minecraft, it's a bit much. It's one of those games with deceptively simple graphics, but there's a lot going on in the way of physics, AI, tons of NPCs, and various particle and lighting effects in the game. It looks like it would be easy to run because of the blocky pixelated graphics, but it's actually a pretty demanding game.

His Ram is barely sufficient, his CPU is good, but his GPU is underpowered to run it well. It needs at least a Geforce 6xxx series, and his G41 has a X4500 GPU integrated. It is very slightly above the bare minimum requirements. It will run the game, but only at the lowest settings with a horrible framerate. Not much fun that way.

Unless he uses optifine or something else that boosts fps. Also I play with G33 Chipset graphics. Well maybe it is because I have a Core 2 Quad. Wait, he has a higher clock speed than me!!!! And the other games he plays are more INTENSIVE!

It doesn't matter, Intel GMA X4500 (which can be found on Intel Q45,Q43,G41,G45,G43 Chipsets) is worse than an Onboard GeForce 9100. My cousin has a PC with the same iGPU with 3GB of ram running in higher frequency and still cannot play GTA SA on lowest on 800x600
