BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea Episode 1

For the Bioshock Infinite fans (me), the Burial at Sea DLC just went live today.

If you bought the Bioshock Season Pass (19.99) the DLC is free; if not, it's 14.99

This is just one of two episodes so….

Anyway Burial at Sea looks to be a good one so off to check it out

    Later.

Totally getting it, but it's so close to the Steam Sale that I'm gonna hold out and snag it at a discount in a month or so. I've got plenty of other unplayed/unfinished stuff to keep me busy until then.

I've read that the DLC isn't very good.

Well, like all things that's a matter of perspective.

If I listened to all the nay-sayers about "bad" games I wouldn't have played anything.

    Peace

Every source I've seen says the exact opposite. However, they also say you really need to have finished the other Bioshock games first for it to make any sense, the first two in particular to get everything going on. It's supposedly a fanservice DLC, but an excellent one according to every source I've seen.

It's a bit too early to tell, but I would agree that playing the first game gives you somewhat of an idea of what's going on and who's who.

As for justifying it's worth... if you're a Bioshock fan, check it out; if you aren't, don't.

That's true, I lend Bioshock Infinite to a friend at work, and they didn't like it at all at first, but I said play it through and you may change your mind.

It was Meh but it's needed if your going to follow the story, was short though about three hours maybe. Rapture is pretty is just to much dejah vu lol. I like the twist at the end though.

    Not worth 15 bucks....

Well I just finished Burial at Sea and I'll say lessor priced DLC's have more content than this. It's basically a few missions than end, wait for part two

While there is definitely a cliff-hanger, it's just way too short to be 15 bucks. On the other hand, if you've bought the Season Pass like I did, it's free.

With that said, the sparse content and abrupt ending will leave you seeing red as you await the release of episode 2 sometime next year
