    Original Ghost Recon for PC...

I don't even know where my copies are of the original GR, Desert Siege or Island Thunder but, I have this craving of playing them again, even if the graphics are outdated. Before I go dust hunting on my closet (hopefully my wife has not decided to do a spring cleaning on it ) I will like to ask if you guys know whether I would be able to install it on Win 7 64bit Ultimate.

I know that I will have to do so in Comp. Mode but I just don't want to waste time if it can be done so... anyone out there with first hand knowledge of this?

I am sure I will initially hate it due to the dying quickly and walking with a limp, more so because of all of this new health regen and die only if shot 20 times that we have gotten accustomed off but, I just want to go back to the good ole days if you will

Trying to install now, the wizard sure is taking its sweet ole time... it could very well be all that dust glued to the CD

WOW, I had forgotten how much fun this game really was... outdated graphics and all.

A few teammates died on my watch and I gotta admit, there was a sense of loss and guilt and remorse for getting them kill because of a stupid command I gave them... on my defense, I am still learning all of the key binding options.

I would gladly pay 20 cheeseburgers for the same game but with newer graphics but, oh well. Another thing that blew me away is that the game's Resolution is capable of 1680x1050 32bit... uhm, WHAT??? I remember playing the game at 640 or 800 max and enjoying the hell out of it, imagine my grin now

I got a question though... Usually Team A has 3 people, Team B only 2 people and Team C 1 sniper (which I usually am)... I can easily switch between team squads but, usually to the first character only but not the 2nd or 3rd and sometimes, the 2nd guy is the one carrying the explosives and I can't blow up the airplane or whatever and I can't remember what to do or how to force them to plant the explosive themselves w/o me micromanaging them.

I am about to start the 3rd mission now and I want to try to have all my ducks in a row

Oh and it appears the Windows Installer on my Rig is acting up because I was trying to uninstall a program and it took forever and ever to do so. I have to google a way to fix this or can I just simply get rid of windows installer and install a newer version of it?

I'll keep that in mind once I am done... Thanks

Ok, so it finally dawned on me how to switch to each teammate and even though I am still unable to make them bring down a tank or use their secondary kit or weapons, I am not mad because that means I literally have to do it and at the end of the day, I should be the one doing the killing and not the computer

I am now onto how to use the DEMO charges, I got a tank that I am supposed to use the demo tank because I was not assing a tank rocket but I can't make it work. The tank is stuck or stopped at a place and it refuses to move, I get to the tank, I set the demo charge but I just have no way to blow it up... arrgghh.

It may seem that I am nagging but I gotta tell you... I am having so much fun with this game it shouldn't even be legal
