No worries. I think you will have to switch car too if you want to catch me up. You have a full 20 seconds to make up!

This would be perfect for my racing setup.

Anybody actually using a wheel/pedal/gear setup? (Fanatec CSR ELITE/Clubsport pedals/7GS shifter)

I have a racing sim setup, but I don't want to blow $36 bones on a "not supported" title.

I don't think so Patrick, I do notice it supports a couple of things by Fanatec in the screenshot I posted, but I suppose it's a gamble.

I set up a small leaderboard so we can keep track of the weeks times. I will change the track to a new one on Saturday.

Paul, FedEx arrived at 4pm, just got my wheel set up and played around with it a bit. I didn't set a hot lap, the only car that I could get around the track without major incidents is the Fiat Abarth.

Smarteyeball, as you can see above, my Logitech G27 wheel only just arrived. However, I've tried it with the manual stick and the "flappy paddles" (cf. Jeremy Clarkson). Both work very well and the force feedback is truly something to be experienced. The accelerator, brake and clutch pedals feel ok and it took no time at all to feel comfortable using them.

Here's a couple of pics I snapped upon arrival of the G27, I'm going to post a pic of it mounted on my desk in the "show us your rig" thread.

I'll have a hot lap to post in a day or two, I'm scheduled to play Dead Island Riptide tonight with a friend.

Lol, you will get used to it Kent, looks real nice though. I am no pro, I am sure I can beat my laptime, but there is no point until someone beats me. So far I have found the fastest car to be the Ferrari 599. It is a beast.

My work schedule has prevented me from getting much track time, but I'm off on Monday and Tuesday so perhaps I can set my hot lap then. Unofficially, in practice mode, I've run 1:52 (I think) around Monza with the Pagani Zonda R.

    Further explanation of work schedule:

    Monday, Tuesday off
    Wednesday 11a - 5p
    Thursday, Friday 5a - 5p
Saturday, Sunday 5a - 5p (alternate weekends off)

So, no free time at all during the workdays but I do get 4 days off in a row every other week.

Just to satisfy the curious, I work in the maintenance department of a food processing facility.

Paul, that is an exceptionally good time on Monza, going to be tough to beat!

Here's my best time running practice laps...haven't done many hot laps yet. Don't know why, no reason, really.

One of the drawbacks of the wheel is that I have to remove it from the desk when I want to do something else...maybe I'll come up with something better.

Go ahead and pick a new track if you want, I may be able to get in the odd lap or two before this weekend (my weekend off).
