Great time Patrick. I guess this controller issue must still be slowing me down by a few seconds

I have ABS and traction control on.
everything else is off, and I use manual gears.

I was watching my reply earlier and if I iron out all my rough patches i think ill be looking at a 1:42.. ill try in a bit, currently too hungover to stare at a screen!!

my first sector and last 2 corners need work so could gain a few tenths with this setup. Still think with the right setup theres still seconds too be found!!

Yeah, first time I've posted a better time than you. It really goes to show how much time difference the right controller setup makes.

    Cool, thanks for that.

Apart from what the cars defaults are the only assist I now use is 10% stability. Makes up for the lack of realistic feel when the tail end is about to snap and spin out.

One thing I'd love to see is for cars like the Z4, 458, MP4 etc that have factory Traction Control and Stability settings is an option, or at least a recommended setting to emulate at least the "race" mode settings so you know exactly how much stability and TC levels to use.

Yeah - even as I go through the corners i think "could have done that better" and then next time around I stuff it entirely

My biggest issue is lack of consistency. I simply cant seem to nail the braking point/apex time after time.

having a retired engineer for a dad has its perks!

may dad has decided to build me a racing seat frame thingy for my logitech g27 with a tv mounted at the end.

mainly as its a but of a fafd to disconnect the wheel everytime I want to play a non racing game.

now I just have to build myself another gaming pc to attach to the racing frame as its being located in my man cave I.e the garrage lol
