I couldn't wait six days to hear and read the rumors of SEIII gameplay so I un-dusted my copy of SEII and I am going through it in the hopes that by the time I am done... the game will be out!

I always had a very difficult time with the third person view of this game and the mouse acceleration hinders me even more but, I guess I have to move slower and that may help even more with time lapse

I've played 1 open wheel, 1 street and 1 touring car race sections so far, Majorly disappointed. Just seems like its missing something, so bland and i feel bored after a few races

Really looking forward to this one. Supposedly a big improvement over Grid 2 and more like the first Grid which I loved.
I will be buying it first thing tomorrow morning when I get paid and then game on tomorrow night :)

Dam lol. That is not what I wanted to hear! It appears to have got good reviews and I have read many positive comments from people that already have the game. Hopefully I like it more than you do mate!

You are not alone, maybe its just because there is only 1 car at the start or maybe its because i just suck at it, but i dont really like it as well. The more realistic they are, the less fun -_-
Its no fun when playing with a KB, you need a controller to properly enjoy it, which i do not have atm.

I wouldnt say it was simulation at all, it's very arcade when you compare it with the likes of Forza, gt etc. I don't like that they TELL me which cars i HAVE to use for events. I wanna choose, customize and tune my cars. Not get in drive around for 10 minutes wishing it to be over.
I'm gonna keep playing, hoping that it gets better, it does have good elements though, such as, More real tracks, Good AI and cars you do actually want to use.
Hope it improves, not to mention that graphics aren't great at all, cockpit cam looks horrific, steering wheels all blurry, everythings blurry inside the car. I do not have the HiRes pack as im Not sure the minimum system requires for it, but if i find out i can run it, il give it a shot and hopefully that will make me enjoy it slightly more:)! None the less, its the only racer for pc worth considering just now until F1 comes out, so play away and have fun:P

Haha Actually i despise racing games. I "want" to play them but cant drive for shit so over the years ive started to hate all racing games. Still i played the last NFS a LOT,Rivals i think it was, and compared to that, this one is hella real. Plus not to mention have no idea how to drift.
As for the blurs and stuff, i think its probably because your system specs are a bit low, i havent noticed any such issues.
