It's basically a do what ever the heck you want type of game. Most ppl use it to make youtube videos or just to mess around. I know gmod has some severs online so i'm guessing ppl are rping or something like that.

    From steam

Garry's Mod is a physics sandbox. Unlike regular games there aren't any predefined aims or goals. We give you the tools and leave you to play. You spawn objects and weld them together to create your own contraptions - whether that's a car, a rocket, a catapult or something that doesn't have a name yet - that's up to you.

I CAN DO THAT?!?!??!?! I thought you needed to own other game like Half life and CS to use their maps.

Also, can someone confirm if Elder scrolls online requires a monthly subscription or not? And has anyone here tried it? Worth the $ ?

Yes it does. You have three payment choices $15 for 30 days, $14 per month for 90 and $13 per month for 180 days.

Personally I think it's worth it. While there a few things to adapt to because it's a mmo, it still feels very much like oblivion/Skyrim.

You can play it like a solo game if you wish, but for some harder areas it does help to group up for a bit.
