Well from the more reputable previews, reviews, and "opinions" I've seen, the game appears to be pretty good. And for the record, NO GAME is without issue. In fact, NO software is without issue.

While you're entitled to your opinion, we're also entitled to ours. And game likes and dislikes are opinions... NOT facts.

And no, I don't have the game as it isn't my type; however, that doesn't mean it isn't any good, it just means it isn't my type.

And for the record, I tend to trust these guys opinions here because if there's anything amok, they'll let you know

    My two cents

If you buy the game from Steam it will, but you can buy the game from other places and get the DVD and install from that. It would install through Steam, and you would still have to download any updates and patches, but the game would install from the DVD. I know what you mean by a bad internet. I have the same problem and usually buy the Game through Amazon or some place where they send you the DVD, for that very reason.

Well the same thing happened before when I ordered the game "Sonic Generations" online. I only got the Steam installation on a DVD with the Steam activation code and an instruction manual. I guess gone are the good old days where you could get the whole game on the disc.

Yeah, it kind of sucks as its the new way things are going now in an effort to stem piracy. I remember when I bought the physical disk for FEAR 3 and got a big fat surprise when the game started downloading from Steam. I wasn't surprised about Steam itself, just the fact that though I had the physical disk, It still needed to be downloaded from Steam. I was like WTH!?!?

Man I feel for those with slow or limited bandwidth.

You can't stop piracy like that. There is still torrent.

You're never going to stop criminality either but that doesn't mean we should stop trying. At any rate piracy wasn't the point of my post. And notice I used the word stem as in stem the tide of crime. Also notice I didn't mention torrent
