R* ****ing Assholes January 27th is too far!!!
Rockstar already learned their lesson when GTA IV was released on the PC: GFWL, Poorly Optimized S***, and random problems on different PCs, they are trying to make GTA V much better than on PS3/XBOX360.

That is absolutely not an excuse at all. GTA 4 would've been horrible even with another delay because Rockstart simply didn't give a f***. And obviously, they still don't, because there is absolutely no reason not to release the PC version along with the new-gen console versions, especially because it had already been announced so.

Rockstar thinks that just because they had good sales in the console area they can screw around with PC gamers and neglect the platform, like they did with GTA 4 and especially Red Dead Redemption. If this is the way to make PC gamers more hyped for the game and increase their sales, thus decreasing the amount of pirated copies floating around, they are in for a foul surprise:

Those of us who had been waiting far too long for Rockstart to wake the hell up and start treating PC gamers with more respect, like me, will be the same ones who will download a pirated copy on purpose just to spite the mothertruckers. I certainly WILL play GTA 5 but since Rockstar does not give a damn about us, I will most certainly NOT buy the game... Ever.

And not just GTA 5, though I've said this already, but every single game Rockstart ever releases in the future will NOT take any money out of my pocket.

EA seems to have learned their lesson, and are at least trying; Rockstart isn't interested, so neither will I be.

Gornot, that's a very good point.

The problem is with a game such as GTA, the complexity is huge they will never be perfect.

However i wish they could work on it a little harder, its not all about the money

    It's not even about complexity.

Take a look at Defiance, or Warframe, or any other MMOs or open world games that was available on consoles prior to being released on the PC. If smaller companies can do it, Rockstart sure as hell can do it better. They poured so many resources into GTA5, got a huge profit from the initial launch, poured even more for the new-gen consoles and are certainly going to profit from them big; but the PC version could've seen the light of day at the time of the initial launch and boost their profit even further.

The announced PC version sports improved graphics just like the new-gen console versions, yet the PC platform receives another delay for what? I don't believe for a single second that Rockstar is incapable of optimizing GTA 5 for the PC, because they are perfectly capable to do so with their resources. They were perfectly capable for GTA 4 too, but like I said, they were too sour over piracy to actually make an effort. And it seems they still live in a fairytale and think that this strategy would actually change things.

    "Ignorance is bliss" my @$$.

If they just take the xbox one version and port it I'm not buying it can u imagine what those textures would be at 1440p lol. I already have and bought gta iv for every console cause people wanted to play, on their version with me but the pc version was a joke. So many buggs and those shadows and aa, dear God.

This is how game devs should be thinking and working.. applause for the devs of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter..

“We haven’t really started with PS4 yet. I mean, yes, we took a look and even had one of the levels up and running, but in the end we have decided to focus 100% on the PC first. Only after the game is released on PC we will go back and continue PS4 development.”

Read this and everyone will be pleased

I hope you like it Steve, hopefully it will be ok.

I have Project Cars on pre-order from Amazon. It's due out near the end of November. I am really looking forward to that.
