Gaming Turning Issue

I am having a weird issue. In both mirrors edge and borderlands when I gain control of the character it keeps turning left. So far these are the only two games that are doing this. I tried fallout 3, kotor, and bioshock and they all work fine. While in game I disconnected both the mouse and keyboard to see if that would stop it but the character continued to spin. I am not sure if it is windows 7 or what but I could use some suggestions.

Did you see if a patch was available?
Did it only start doing this?Did you try reinstalling it or repairing them from the control panel/programs/programs and features?

Well since it is doing it for two different games on two different engines I doubt it is the games themselves. This is my first time playing borderlands, but mirrors edge I have played before with no problems. I can't remember if I played it when I was running the win 7 RC, but I did recently install the retail version of 7 and now I am having this issue. Also yes I did try reinstalling BL.

LoL sheesh, I was about to type nothing and then it struck me that my joystick might be connected and there you go it was, and that was the problem. I usually keep it disconnected, but had to play some tie fighter a couple months back and forgot to disconnect it again. Thanks for jogging my memory.

Turning a non-gaming PC into a gaming PC
Hi all, first time poster here. So I have a less-than-optimal PC when it comes to gaming (3D anyway) and I'd appreciate any advice on tweaking it to be able to smoothly run some 3D games, if possible. I'm a noob at this, as you can probably tell. The basics of my system should be visible with...

Greetings All, I posted this over at both the MSI and TomsHardware forums as I think it's a hardware issue but I want to make sure it's not a Windows 7 issue so I'm going to post it here in case anyone has some thoughts or ran into a similar issue in the past. Gents, I've run into an issue...

HP CQ60 strange issue turning off
OK this is the strangest tech problem I have ever run across in a long time. 1. I used a DVD sent to me with Windows 7, it allowed all flavors to be installed and was from technet or so that label said. 2. shortly afterwords I was crashing in windows 3. I attempted to use my XP, Vista and...
