Would this system be good for games??

    Hey,
Basically, getting a desktop with these specs:

    Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo Processor E7500 (2.93GHz, 1066FSB, 3MB)

Genuine Windows 7 Professional 64-bit english(running games on XP mode)

    4GB (2X2GB) DDR2 800MHz SDRAM Memory

500GB SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive with Native Command Queuing

    ATI Radeon(TM) HD 4350 512MB DDR2

I want this computer to play games like COD, GTA IV, and rail simulator. Would this O/S support these games, and would this system be good graphics and no freezing or lagging?
    Thanks

It would be excellent. Check my specs. Yours is a lot better. I consider my rig really good for games (I get like 30-40 fps in HAWX DX10 which is a heck of a lot more than most would think going strictly on my specs alone.)

GTAIV could give you troubles though because it's not so well coded. I only get like 10-15 fps but again, compare your rig to mine.

My graphics card is awesome though for AGP. I overclock it to 800 MHz gpu and 2200 MHz GDDR3 256 bit memory when playing games. It flies and my CPU is the bottleneck.

You're going to want ATI Tray Tools.

You might check out the Intel i5 750.
