    The Titanfall Thread!


    So i thought id start one :)

    Just a heads up guys and gals who buy digital copies, its a 49.99GB download i was told 29gb when i inquired.. wish id have got a retail copy now... specially as my internets only managing 147kbps.. sigh...

    Well the way I read it was it was a 21 gig download that garbled up 48 gig of hard drive space...

    Titanfall is a 21GB download, 48 GB installed | PC Gamer

    That's pretty massive. Laptop users beware

    Anyway being that this is an EA title, I'll wait and see what happens when the dust settles.

    Was looking forward to it from all the hype for so long. Got the beta. Wasn't too impressed. From what I saw and played didn't live up to the hype, and is way too fast paced for me. A let down as far my own opinion.

    I left it on over night and it did 39gb.. shall do the rest tomorrow night =) already used 100gb of 3g data on my phone this month already.. titanfall will make it a new record ha!

    ok after a little reading online the reason titanfall Pc download is soooooo big is because it contains 35Gb of uncompressed game audio (35gig!!!!!!!)

    which is a benifit to people with lower end rigs and or people without quad core processors as dual cores would dedicate one cpu core to uncompressing data resulting in only single core performance for the game engine.
