    Increaseuserva doesn't exist

In brief, I was trying to follow instructions to make a game stop crashing.
    • Windows Vista or Windows 7
      1. Click "Start"
      2. Type cmd and press Enter
      3. Type bcdedit and press Enter
      4. Look under the "Windows Boot Loader" section for an entry titled "increaseuserva". Make note of the value in the right column next to increaseuserva in case you wish to restore this entry later.
      5. If it exists, type bcdedit /deletevalue increaseuserva and press Enter. The message "The operation completed successfully" should appear.
      6. Reboot your system to apply the change.

Note: To revert this change, follow these instructions but enter bcdedit /set increaseuserva ####, where #### is the value you made note of earlier.
I made it to step 4 but increaseuserva doesn't exist. Does that mean it was already deleted, my game still crashes though.

If it is not there, it is not set. Thus nothing to remove.

In a typical installation there will be no increaseuserva entry. The setting has it's uses but is not appropriate for general use and thus not set by default. Step 4 is there to cover the case where the setting is present.
