Why are you trying to install DirectX? All games should install the relevant DirectX package they require upon first launch.

Some games, especially older games, may install DX files that are out of date, or even corrupt files and this is where the runtime install comes in.

    Anyway, @ OP...

Are you trying to install the DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010) or the Web Installer?

The end user is just the entire package (96mb), while the web installer just scans your system and installs what's needed (DX files only). Try the one you didn't try and see if that helps.

    Good luck.

I've no idea how to deal with this one as I've never dealt with an emulator. That said, there really shouldn't be any issues installing/updating the DX files on a PC. As for troubleshooting the issue with the emulator, as I said, I've no clue. Perhaps someone else has an answer.

    Peace

Ditto, I would check the forums from the makers of the emulator.
