    Hello socrgy9,

What are you doing while the game is paused? If you are away while the game is paused, then the screensaver is on a timer for when it will activate. You can change the time at Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Personalization then click on Screensaver. It should come up with another tab for the Screensaver you are running, just under the display of it it will show a number set for X amount of minutes. Just change that number to something much later and it should stop doing that.

thanks, i know about that. i often have to pause and go help do something with my kids (change a diaper, etc. lol). i just thought that if a program is running, especially in full screen that the screensaver would not be allowed to come on.

Depending on the game/screen, the GPU will downclock to idle speeds and Windows then considers the PC to be idle hence the screensaver kicking in, even if the game is fullscreen.

Unfortunately I know of no workaround.

Yep, same here... pretty much is small annoyance, all I do is login again click on the minimized tab and start playing again

You're welcome mate. And I might have found a work around after all :)

I've long since gotten used to it since it never affected my games so I never really looked that hard into it.

But I got curious again and found an app: No Screen Saver! that might do the trick. it's a standalone app that doesn't require installation and just needs you to add the game to it's list. I haven't tried it yet, but it's worth a go.
