To solve the memory problem, just run in compatibility mode with Windows XP. (It works for me)

Unfortunately, I have the same problem luzbelseen was having. However, I have a Intel G33/G31 Express Chipset Family.

ATI or Nvidia solutions will work for me? If yes, which one? If no, what can I do to fix the problem?

    thanks

i figured out how to get around the main issue of this thread. if you write -soft in the launch options prompt you can get around the open gl and the game will run.

It loads up to the starting screen but all I see is the 2 guys in masks and no buttons.

When I move the mouse to left side I can hear the click that I'm on a button but can't get past there.

The windows task bar for some reason is displayed at bottom but can't click anything on it.

yea I'm running cs on a little integrated graphics card on my lappy, i installed the riva tuner and the open gl settings didn't even show up. but. i can access my opengl graphics settings through another program that was already on my laptop. it allows me to change the settings for things like, asynchonous flip, triple buffering, and a handful of other things. any suggestions guys? i'd like to play one of the only games my computer will let me run but after i got win 7 i havent played...

sorry i didn't try them all at first, i did the -soft technique into my lauch options, only downside is im still not running it with opengl. . . the render is set to D3D...not sure if that matters tho. thanks for the help tho, you taught me how to mess with graphics settings outside of the game which ive been trying to figure out for a while.

i just found out the way it works. just go in to the device mananger and disable the graphic card that u're using, and run CS1.6, then set the game run as a window(in options of CS1.6), then go back into device manager and enable again the graphic card that u're using, reboot the computer and u'll be fine.

if it's not works, try to run the game as "administrator"

    Hi,

I install CS 1.6 on my notebook computer with Windows 7 64 bit Professional with Windows Dream Scene enabled. I run the game successfully but it runs only with video settings displayed on picture. Can someone help me ? When I set higher settings it crash to the windows and says Video Mode not Supported and 32 bit color mode ist not supported in software renderer. Thanks for reply.

    Best Regards GIGN1987.
