    How well would Grand Theft Auto IV run on Windows Vista versus 7?


    Just curious since I haven't got the time to downgrade to Vista for a bit I will just ask you.

    There is honestly no point in downgrading to vista.

    How about if I try it on Windows 8? I'm not sure if the game would support such OS because it's much newer and people get problems with GFWL plus the game should run fine with dual cores and better with quad cores but it even runs randomly horrible on Quad Cores and even Octa Cores :S

    Thats because the game is designed to run on Dual core like most games.

Hey everyone, i just bought GTA IV. Its working and it looks great. So when i started the game, everything was fine. When i was playing the game, the game freezes randomly for a few milliseconds, which makes the game unplayable. So i went to systemrequirementslab.com and ran an compability...
when i play grand theft auto iv it freezes like every 2 minutes for 30 secs the music is still playing and aftere that it keeps repeating that cyle
