    What Games Can It Run?


    Hi my brother has the following PC what games it can run from last 3 years to the latest one's now on playable frames from medium to high detail.

    Specs:

    Intel E5300 Dual Core Processor @ 2.6ghz
    4GB DDR3 RAM
    GeForce GTX 550Ti 1GB GDDR5
    Native Resolution of 1366x768

    I would say look for each PC Maximum requirement because the majority of the minimum requirements are crap and those are so you get to the game and perhaps play them at the lowest settings and barely 10+ FPSs. Sure, some games are much better coded than others and are not as hard on your pc but, looking at your pc specs you are indeed on the lower end of the spec... that is if you plan on playing the shooter games that normally people want to play.

    hmmm you are right he wants to play some action packed games like COD: MW series or some other FPS.

    Some shooter games require higher FPS (60 is no excuse).

    I can get a cheap C2Q Q6600 I think it'll help a little bit as well

    Can the Motherboard handle it though, otherwise, you are just creating a bigger bottleneck.

    CoD are one of those tittles that are very smooth and easy on the equipment but again, you lack on CPU and you would make your 550Ti work harder than it should.

    Yes the motherboard do support Q6600 as it's LGA 775 also the RAM right now is running on 800mhz instead of 1333 due to CPU which is bottlenecking RAM as well as GPU I guess

    No I don't have it a guy is selling Q6600 but now he says he wants to sell mobo too

    Your friend is fine with a Core 2 Duo E8600 or E6750 because both C2Ds is just below the Q6600 when benchmarking.
