PC reboots while gaming

Agree with Wishmaster here. And as I stated in post#11, you might want to post your dump files in the BSOD Help and Support forum. However they aren't there to fix game issues, so if you post looking to get a game fixed, it'll get moved again. That said, I would look there because your issue may be more serious than a simple gaming issue.

However... seeing your issue only happens when gaming suggests you take a hard look at your GPU first. If all is good there, then see about providing the BSOD team a dump file. I myself can't help you with dump files since I've not learned to read and diagnose them (yet).

I double checked all connections and did not find anything loose.
Reset the bios and updated it again. Set it to optimized defaults.
Updated audio drivers and did a clean reinstall of GPU drivers, everything else was already up to date. Windows update is allowed to update drivers.
Ran memtest overnight, 8 passes, no errors. Also tried other RAM slots with 2 passes each, no errors.
Ran Malwarebytes, no problems found.
Reboot still persists, anywhere from 5mins into loading the game to 3-4hrs into it.

I've ordered a Corsair RM650 PSU. Let's hope this fixes it.

syngnus21, how do I check my GPU further? I've run Furmark for an hour with no problems. Is there something else I should be looking at?

If you're a handy person you could take the GPU apart and re-apply some new thermo past. If not, leave well enough alone and just apply a can of compressed air to it, and the system.

Other than that I have no further suggestions since you say you ran Furmark and the GPU passed. And maybe the PS swap will work. I don't know.

I forgot to mention, I did reapply thermal paste and cleaned the heatsink on the GPU. It does not seem to affect the reboots.

Than your problem is somewhere else and I've no other suggestions other than waiting to see what the new PS does or submit a BSOD dump file.

LOL, I must be getting old as I'm usually a stickler for posting system specs when troubleshooting game issues. Yes, Layback Bear is correct... PLEASE post system specs! Otherwise it's just a guess.
