    Yes and No.

    If you were to try and run everything maxed on a 24"+ it can have a big impact, depending on the game.

    However at resolutions like 1024x768, 1280 x 1024 and 1440 x 900 you are essentially under-utilizing the video card and the CPU needs to work harder than it should. This is important when running heavily CPU dependant games.

    With your specs, 1680x1050 is the 'sweet spot'
