    Half Life 2 update

Half-Life 2: Update Coming to Steam - IGN

The Valve-approved fan-created mod, dubbed Half-Life 2: Update, will be releasing on Steam tomorrow, completely free of charge. The 7GB add-on serves up a number of visual enhancements, including improved lighting effects and more detailed environmental textures. A number of bugs that plagued the original PC release have been fixed as well.
Earlier this month at GDC, Valve announced it was experimenting with Half-Life in virtual reality. Whether or not the beloved first-person shooter franchise will ever make its way to VR remains to be seen, but the prospect of such an experience sounds awfully promising.

You can download Half-Life 2: Update on March 27, directly from Steam's online store. Watch the comparison video below to see the difference between the original Half Life 2, and the updated version.

Is this F2P or not? I just downloaded Black Mesa with Uplink add-on worth 7.5 GB and I can't download another 7GB again because my internet is just 3.5MBPS.

EDIT: IT'S F2P!!! Sorry for the inconvenience! :P

    Meh. Give me Half-Life 3

That said, I've played HL2 so many times I get sick just looking at it now.

Yeah, I would really like to see HL3. I haven't played HL2 in a long time, and I'm bored so I'm going to give it a go. I'm going to run it in my W10 install to see how it games.

I never got into Half Life so never gave HL2 a chance, I might pick it up now though.
