Random People Adding me on Steam?

Is anyone experiencing this? Random people adding me but they say same message to me like "Hello, I am looking for this item (They will post a fake link to think that this is a picture of the item they want). Wanna trade?"

I just keep on blocking them and ignoring them but it's not worth it because they create different accounts.

Make your Steam Account as Private.
That could happen everytime. specially when your active on steam community.

Ah! That name! I also received an invitation from him. But he hasn't answered to me because that wasn't the first account he used to scam me.

I plan to sell my steam account and start a new one again because I feel uncomfortable if I buy something in the store. Steam is doing anything they could to protect their users but damn

there's a new feature which stops people who haven't spent $5 or more on their steam wallet from using anything on steam, that includes messaging and adding people, i'd keep it for the time being until this is implemented.
