That happens when your game is using fullscreen mode. If the game supports "windowed fullscreen", then try that. If not you are out of luck. This is the same for all of us. Nothing wrong with your PC.

However, can you move mouse to 2nd monitor when in game? Normally, you shouldn't be able to move mouse out of main display (where the game play) unless you ALT+TAB out.

Normally FS means full screen on that monitor, if you try to leave it, Windows minimizes said FS and sometimes the app/game will not come back up.

The game or settings within the video driver suite for the game, would have to be tailored to multiple monitor support, typically games are not. [ALT+ENTER should be tried though as mentioned previously]

The work around is Full Screen Windowed mode, works great in Marvel Heroes 2015 as an example.

I recommend trying Display Fusion, an app for multiple monitors, also, I've been using 2 monitors now for about 4 years with that application, gives a full Windows Start bar on both monitors, allows for different backgrounds, etc etc. well worth the fair price.

I use a triple monitor setup and never needed a taskbar on side monitors (eyefinity/surround is another issue). Dual Monitor Tools is a free one you can check out. You can set random backgrounds for seperate displays etc.

How good is the free version of DisplayFusion?

I bought DF Pro pretty much immediately, and got a great deal on the same companies' other offerings when I did, it was way too long ago now, I don't recall the free one at all.

Pro license was also good for all systems in the house, so my wife uses it too.

    Here's their compare on versions:

Free vs Pro ? DisplayFusion ? Binary Fortress Software

If you can move the mouse to side-monitor then it is not in fullscreen mode but perhaps in borderless windowed. Did you check the game's graphics settings? And search its official forums? Which game by the way?
