    Running Big Fish Download Manager

I've figured out how to install games via www.bigfishgames.com, but I must open the Big Fish Download Manager prior to executing the game file.
Everytime I run the Big Fish Download Manager, I get this security warning:

Is there any way to tell Windows that this program is safe to run, so I don't see this warning anymore?

UAC protects you, especially if you don't have a complete understanding of the OS as in your case.

To disable it if you wish however, go to the control panel and click on user accounts, while viewing large or small icons.

Then click on User Account Control settings. The rest is self-explanatory.

Yeah, I've seen that, but I don't want to relax it for every program, just the Big Fish Download Manager. This is on my wife's computer, and if she navigates to a site with a virus, I'd rather keep this at least to medium.

Of course, she does have PCTools Spyware Doctor with AntiVirus running. You think I should just keep the UAC at the recommended level.. or can I relax it safely with the AntiVirus running?

People are going to disagree with me and they have every right to be heard same as me - but I can only give you my advice.

Leave the antivirus running and disable UAC. You'll be safe this way and not be bothered.

Thanks Torrentg. I'll give it a shot. Worse that can happen is a System Restore.
