To install Nvidia GeForce Experience Game Ready Driver 355.82 or NOT .

My Nvidia Geforce Experience is telling me to Update my Game Ready Drivers to this latest version (i.e 355.82 WHQL) .It says that i will have the best possible gaming experience for Metal Gear Solid V:The Phantom Pain and Mad Max.

The reason i am asking is to just get an ASSURANCE from anyone of you , who have TESTED this Game Ready Driver, themselves & give this a Green Signal :)

I know,i should not be desperate if my games are running fine. But,some of my games are not running at 100% perfection but perhaps a 90% Perfection. So,why not try it , IF IT IS STABLE / GOOD that is...

    So,what do you all suggest...?

The Game Ready Driver is ready to Install. My Current Driver Version is 353.62

Well, you can always go back to the previous version... lol

Have not played a newer game in a looooong, loooong time so I am not going to update until it happens. I am jonesing for a good campaign shooter and I saw a trailer of MGSV and it made me weep when I saw it was a TPS, then again, I don't know why I thought it wouldn't be lol.

    Hi,
I have that driver but not NVidia GeForce Experience on this machine = no need for the bloatware.

I'm pretty sure you're not playing any of the games NVidia is referring too with a GT 540

Steam asks for it too fwiw.

I am a newbie when it comes to Graphics Card installations / Updates / Troubleshooting. So,i am unsure before taking such steps. And it is always wise to ask before doing anything of such sort , SINCE PEOPLE SOMETIMES START GETTING BSOD's & similar.Which probably won't happen in this case but again i am a newbie & i am usually careful not to cause any CRASHES or similar problems.

Now that you have tell me,i am relieved to know that i can go back to previous version.

I am playing one of the games Nvidia is referring i.e Metal Gear Solid V .But i am playing it's teaser (Metal Gear Solid V : Ground Zeroes) which is like the game i.e with same game specifications & so far it is working TOP NOTCH.I am not going to play MAD MAX hopefully though.

The reason i want an upgrade is because some games like COD Advanced Warfare & Hitman Absolution were not working on their MAX.So,i am curios as if this Game Ready Driver Update will fix that ,perhaps.

    HI,
This round of driver was mainly for win-10 as far as I've noticed so I wouldn't expect anything earth shattering :)
But you never know you can always reinstall the previous version.
Best thing about not using N.G.E. download the drivers from the site and run it after.
