Well, to be honest, I think that GTA V is a pretty great game, but got dull after ~100 hours of gameplay. However, the biggest redeeming factor for PC other than Free Multiplayer is Mods. Oh my Lawd, the mods. so many mods. But if you bought it on Steam, then you can still get a refund if you haven't played it for over two hours.

    G'luck, mate.

Yes I would agree... I was playing it for a while and it was kind of getting dull, but this was without doing the missions.

I like the grapple hook mod but that gets boring after a while. I will have to try out the missions.

    I didn't know about the steam/refund.

Yes there are so many mods for this game true.

When your flying around in the stunt plane, does this make you go little dizzy? Does to me.

    Thanks for the replies.
Yes play the story it is where the game shines and will quickly get you good with all the mechanics of it as well.

Well, I bought it on Steam and didn't look at the minimal specs, so I'll have to wait 'till I buy a new PC, hehe....

I play this game on and off. Maybe spending 10-20mins.

I just played the mission, im only in the beginning and the way i feel about it is ...... it's okay.

When i first played it i did not like it at all. I later added a mod and this made the game little more fun. I continued playing it and i grew into the game a little more.

I like fliying around too and just free roam around the map, its fun.

From scale 1 to 10 ... 1 being least and 10 the best.... i would give the game a 4. The game including missions does not a a 6 for me. Feel free to rate it and give your rating if you like.

Maybe i will grow more into it but probably not.

Thanks for everyones thoughts/feelings on this game, i enjoy reading your experience with gta v .

Like i haven't tested GTA V for PC, but i do have a copy of GTA V for my PS3. After a while it gets boring, yes. Even the multiplayer mode(i never play the campaign, i just play multiplayer) gets boring after a while. The story? I think GTA IV's story was better. What i liked is that the game gave you an actual choice that decided which way your gameplay was going, that makes GTA IV alot better to me. The story was just great overall and it was big for it's time, 2008. 2008 with hi-end graphics for the time. I can't even run GTA IV on my computer, LOL!

My friend asked me to install his GTA V on my PC and lend me his RGSC and steam and was suprised that I was getting the same results as in GTA IV which means that the latter improved its optimization.

I think the patch (for GTA IV) that took out GFWL was the one that also included the fixes to make the game optimized like it should have been when it was ported.

Yeah xliveless is a cool hooker and it serves as an alternative asi for mods. But GFWL wasn't the one who ripped off the performance, it was the poor optimization made by Rockstar (FYI XBOX 360 Had difficulties running GTA IV on development stage)

Got it pre-order but barely played it. PC is much capable to play at high (or whatever) settings. For me GTA is more of a game which I drive around and listen to the music staring at the scenery

If only they kept the IV's driving physics, now it feels like an arcade racing game with the new horrible physics.

This is what I love about it being someone who in life sees in 20/60 with glasses.

I find them more realistic then IV's to each is own I guess. The new DLC comes out for it tomorrow and i'm excited as it is supposed to bring back the customization that was in San Andreas which IV was surely lacking.
