Remember three magical letters . . . R - A - M. The more the better. End of story. Even when I was working for a scheduling software company, they put out a desktop version first (Now they are in the cloud) but initially, we needed at least 16mb RAM for it to work. Ram is what it's all about. The only part that sucked was we lost our invoice so if ever need a refund, we won't be able to do that. If money is an issue, just get a payday loan advance or something. That's what I did. This way you can save up and then purchase your RAM.

    You can :
1.Find that sweet-spot in games (balance of quality and performance).
    2.Overclock your CPU.
3.Tweak your Windows and games (disable all unnecessary services,start-up programs, set up proper file, etc!;download patches, fixes, utilities to tweak your games, etc!)
    4.Upgrade your hardware.
