Ghost Recon Future Soldier loads but shows only black screen

I brought the cd serial code key for ghost recon future soldier (pc).

I installed it on uplay.

Took a long while to install but had no problems upto this part.

After that, it was ready for me to play it said.

So i clicked on play and the game launched but all i ever saw was a black screen

I had to press ctrl alt del to get out of it or sometimes log out. When it minimises, my desktop resolution automatically changes and the desktop screen looks more bigger.

Any ideas?

Drivers got corrupted somehow? Perhaps it is time to update or even reinstall them again from scratch? Can't hurt.

Did you omitted installing directx when the game asked you for it? Sorry, there is not a lot of explanation to go on.
