Unfortunatly, you are correct. There is not a demo for this game. Otherwise, I would have done that, first thing.

I'm thinking about getting Assassin's Creed (The first one, not AC2). I had conflicting sources telling me what should and shouldn't work.

My specs work out fine except for two things:
    1. I have a Pentium 4 processor. The specs say I need a dual core processor. I've looked at what other people have said and they say it should work without one. I just wanted to verify that before I put my money into the game.

    2. I am running Windows 7 (32-bit). The specs say Windows XP/Vista (only). Does that mean Windows 7 won't work?

    Thanks a lot, guys.
I also picked this game up,it runs great on win764 bit, should be no problem their but im not sure about the cpu you have.Heck for 9.99 at wal mart you should just pick it up,if it doesnt run good on what you have, then when you do upgrade you,ll have on heck of a game on the cheap...

That's the thing, I don't have a dual core processor (I have the Pentium 4 2.66 GHz processor my computer came with), so, chances are, it won't work. I was just curious to see if anyone else had done something like this, and whether or not it worked. But, you're right, I could probably get it for dirt-cheap if I wanted to test it out myself.
