    Have the updated drivers worked?
I'll try later. I've been being lazy and just playing Dragon Age: Origins and Borderlands instead lol.

Update: I updated my chipset drivers, uninstalled the codec pack and made sure I had the latest video and audio drivers, after about 10 minutes of playing it crashed.

This is what the event viewer says

Faulting application name: crysis64.exe, version: 1.1.1.6156, time stamp: 0x47d6d9cf
Faulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll, version: 6.1.7600.16385, time stamp: 0x4a5bdfe0
    Exception code: 0x0000087a
    Fault offset: 0x000000000000aa7d
    Faulting process id: 0xf30
    Faulting application start time: 0x01ca6e1ed0d92a26
    Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Bin64\crysis64.exe
    Faulting module path: C:\Windows\system32\KERNELBASE.dll
    Report Id: 609bbc2c-da13-11de-bd73-001fd0d161a4

I also tried to run it in Vista SP2 Compatibilty mode, I'll just stick to games that run ;-O

Why does it say your running the Crysisx64? Run the Crysis.exe in the Bin64 folder, not the Crysisx64.exe file.

Hmm, wait, i think its my fault, im not entierly sure, BUT...

can you check the link on your desktop and see what file its linking to?

i think that link opens the crysis.exe in the bin64 folder.

Just check tho, so we can see.

Do you mean original as in Setup installed original? If so, yes.
