    Installing DirectX 9


    I just bought a used computer that received a fresh install of Windows 7. I am getting a lot of direct c errors for games I try to play. I know that I need DirectX 9.... How .can. I install this? And where can I I find the download. Is it easier to just uninstall direct 11. Then install directx9? Sorry if that's a stupid question. I am not a tech peraon at all...any help appreciated.

    and no... do not unistall DX 11

    install dx 9 and if you install any new game and it asks you if you want to install dx9 always say yes... no matter if you already have it

Hey i have a problem with my Direct X, i want to reinstall with websetup(from microsoft), but everytime(after download completed) this annoying Bluescreen pops up. Also, if i want to, check with dxdiag the Bluescreen appears. Mfg
Good morning, Whenever I try to update my Direct X using the DirectX End-User Runtime I get the following error : "An internal system error occured. Please refer to DXError.log and DirectX.log in your Windows folder to determine problem". Where do I go about finding these files ? PS
1. Bioshock wants me to install DirextX 9.0c. I was wondering if installing this will mess up DirectX11. 2. I'm using a DX10 video card so the Dx10 features on my DX10 games should work wil DX11 right?
