Gta V... is it possible to move it into steam?

    Hi

I want to play gta v

I remember i brought it and had it all installed on my pc. Until i lately decided to play it again after long time. Then there was a problem with the game.

I decided to reinstall it and it is downloading right now. Which is the problem, its over 60gb and its taking too long. But i have no choice to just wait till its complete.

Ok thats one problem, the other problem is the game is seperated from steam.

When i had it on my pc before, it was not in the steam application. I would like to move it into steam application if possible?

I looked up the game from steam but you have to pay, and i have already paid but i cannot find the receipt anywhere, but i have the email which is linked to the game. But even there i cannot find where i paid for the game to play it.

So i would like to know if there is a way to put the gta game into steam, so every game is managed by one application.

And also there should be another way to play this game quicker rather then waiting for few days to let it download .

Try activating the game on Steam using the RGSC Serial key that came with your game.

If you want to really play so bad then you can go ahead and find a clean copy of the game with latest version on torrents site but that would be impossible since it's all cluttered with illegal files.

You can also try sending the proof (the email that you have) to the steam support and see if they can actually do something to your game.

The best action here is to simply take a backup of the installers (which is a best practice anyway). You download this once, then save it somewhere, and when you need to install it again simply use that media for the job, without any internet activity, much less a 60GB download. This serves well for example after reinstalling Windows or moving to a newer computer.

The last thing you want to do is to link to the Steam crapware. Not only it infects the game with its DRM thing, so you can't play without Steam, but also for reinstalls it just goes and redownloads it all again, taxing your connection with another 60GB download and the time it takes, basically giving the very same problem again.
